It was only exclusive to the remake. They added quite a lot of things to Super Mario 64 DS that Super Mario 64 didn't have, which is cool, because it doesn't make Super Mario 64 DS a lazy remake.

The ability would be able to shoot lasers from Mario's eyes by picking up a laser flower , allowing Mario to incinerate his enemies to ashes.

I actually liked the Cat ability for Mario and other characters, they pretty much thought of it all, does it have an ability where Mario disguises himself as a Goomba to trick all the enemies ?
