"We need to make sure these guys don't bust holes in the car, first and foremost," Ayros said. "If they don't end up getting us, the hypothermia will, unless we can find a way to keep this car secure."

Vahn had awoken to the sound of Ayros suggesting that they should reinforce the car. Then for some reason, Vahn chimes in with his idea. "Hmm...umm...nope. nothing." Vahn said. "Anyone got any ideas?"

(Y'know, I would've been posting but my parents made me go out to eat...)

(Sorry we went on without you)

(Nah, it's ok. I didn't really expect you to wait :p)

(It's cool man, you're just in time for the action)

"First things first. Let's get rid of these guys. Help with come in the morning, so we just got to survive until then." Lara whispered. "It's the most immediate problem anyways."

"We won't survive without heat," Ayros stated. "At sub-zero temperatures, it takes about 30 minutes to develop hypothermia, and that's wishful thinking."

Lara smiled smugly. "Well that gives us thirty minutes to fight, and figure out the problem in the meantime. Hell, maybe we'll have to cuddle for warmth." Before anyone could respond, she jumped out of the car and charged at the monsters.

"Works for me," Ayros said, diving after her and taking careful consideration into shutting the door afterwards. He clambered onto the hood and started slinging arrows at the monsters.

"Now that's a plan I can get behind!" Vahn jumped onto the hood with Ayros and started shooting away at monsters.

"Course, I'd rather just kill you all and huddle in your corpses for warmth." Lara smirked as she picked off a creature with her sniper

"Well, since that's not gonna happen, let's talk about the first option a bit more." Ayros said with a smirk.

The group were halfway done exterminating the horde of monsters...that is, until a monster the size of a 2 story house far off in the distance slowly started trudging towards the group. "Umm...the hell is that thing!?" Vahn said.

Lara looked over to where Axel was pointing, and to her dismay, found a giant version of the beasts they had been fighting. "Ayros! Is there anything you can do to the truck to make it move?!? We don't have the type of firepower necessary to kill that thing!"

"Cover me for a second!" Ayros said, jumping off the hood of the car. He made his way to the trunk. "Tool kit, food...nothing that looks like gasoline though!" he yelled. "Guys, I don't know what-"

Suddenly, his voice was drowned out by the sound of multiple car engines. He heard a screech only a talented drifter could make, and as he closed the trunk, he heard "Get in!" yelled by the one man he hadn't wanted to come face-to-face with again in his lifetime.

Antonio Banderes, his ex-girlfriend's brother, and his own former gang leader.

"Dammit, guess we don't have a choice!" Vann had hopped in the passenger seat of Antonio's car, but not after obtaining something unexpected by one of those monster corpses on the way to the car...

Meanwhile, Ayros yelled for Lara to follow him before sliding into the other car, his old C7 Chevy Corvette. The previous driver, whom Ayros didn't recall ever seeing before, slid out to let him drive instead, and ran over to Antonio's car instead.

"Antonio must trust him if he let him drive this beauty," Ayros said to himself as he nestled into the masterpiece, whilst taking out as many monsters as he could before they could reach him.

"JUST DRIVE!" Lara roared. She smashed the window on her side and leaned out of it, sniper rifle in hand, taking potshots at the rampaging monster ahead

"The one thing I told you to make sure we didn't do," Ayros whined, watching Lara bust his windows open and feeling the frigid air rush in. He sighed and stomped on the accelerator, throwing up snow behind him as he accelerated down the road, speeding as fast as he dared given the terrain.

Vahn looked out of the window of Antonio's car to see that the monster was slowly starting to pick up speed. "Um...is it just me or is that thing catching up to us!?" Vahn yelled to Ayros and Lara.
