Crystalites' Diamond Wedlocke Challenge!

I’ve finally found my Pokémon Diamond again and this times rather than playing it through normally I’m going to play it with a twist and a bit of help from you guys which you’ll see later. I’ve tried a few Nuzlockes before and I’ve seen many users doing Nuzlocke pedias so I thought maybe bring the difficulty higher and make it into a Wedlocke .

Rules:

You may only catch the first Pokémon on a route you find unless and clause effects it (see below).

If a Pokémon faints, it will be count as dead and must be either released or kept in a PC Box.

All Pokémon must be nicknamed after a 3dsPedia member.

The Dupes Clause applies for up to 3 encounters in an area.

The Gender Clause applies for up to 3 encounters in an area.

You may not deposit any Pokemon into the PC.

There is a level limit based on the next Gym Leader/Champion's highest levelled Pokémon. Any Pokémon that surpasses that limit may not be used.

Only 3 healing items may be used per battle.

Only Pokémon I catch can be used (No traded Pokémon or gift Pokémon, apart from my starter).

No legends may be used.

Note:

Battle style will be on shift since it is a Wedlocke.

Possible Pokémon (Before Gym 1: Roark):

Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Kricketot, Zubat, Abra, Wurmple, Budew, Geodude, Machop, Onix

Wait , is there a difference between Wedlocke and Nuzlocke ? Well if there is tell me Cuz I only heard of Nuzlocke , unless this is some sort of fancy name

A Wedlocke is basically when you have partners (a male pokemon and a female pokemon) You can only switch in between one pair, so getting two pokemon with a common weakness is a major problem. The rest of the rules are like a nuzlocke. Also you can't put a pokemon into the pc (eg. switch pokemon around).
