The other students watched thunderstruck as chains bound Daniel where he stood. Next moment, a cylindrical shelf full of crystal balls fell around him so he was confined within it. A pair of electrodes attached themselves to his head and starting pumping ten million volts through him while all the crystal balls spontaneously exploded.

The students were glad when it was over, because they didn't want to see what state the corpse was in and the shelf partially obscured it.

Syn: Goddamn, this was supposed to stop.

Monokuma was giggling like a moron.

Monokuma: You know what's funniest? Those newspaper articles were fake! I forged them! You guys starting killing each other over nothing! Upupupupu, this is what despair's all about! :D

Syn: But that... that means that we weren't forgotten. People HAVEN'T replaced us. And they'll come knocking and tear your precious academy to pieces once they see what you're doing.

Monokuma blanched but then covered it by giving a long, although fake, laugh.

Monokuma: Well, if that's the tiny bit of hope you have... I'll have fun squashing it out later. Goodnight folks!

The students went to bed with a little more hope knowing that they hadn't been forgotten. Maybe help would come. How could they know that they would have to find a way out themselves?

Chapter 2: Cut That Hurts - END

Survivors: 14 12 - Wright, Sorxas, Yukari and Daniel are gone.

The following morning, the students gained access to:

  • the bath (ground floor)
  • infirmary (ground floor, school)
  • part of the third floor
Syn: *on the third floor* Wow, there are plenty of locked doors here.

Syn: I think Monokuma wants to keep some areas which could help us find out who he is to himself. Which rooms are there on the third floor that are open?

Riko: we should all go check them out. Maybe we'll be able to tell what's in the locked ones. Maybe whoever is controlling Monokuma lives in there.

Syn: Hey! This locked one says, "Surveillance Room." I guess that's where all the camera feeds go. And since that person's always watching us apparently, I think this is where they stay. *turns handle* Just like I thought, it's locked. ... We got access to the third floor but there's not much here unless you fancy walking around in the corridors.

But then they came across a Physics lab.

Kaimine i'm STILL sad about my loss of Sorxas!
hopefully a miracle will happen and Sorxas will be home when i come back.:(
