Monokuma: Awww... it failed. This sucks. I'll just hope that hunger gets the better of you. Upupu...
Looking sorely disappointed, Monokuma disappeared for the rest of the day.
Now, they were taking it in turns to watch the surveillance room - two watched while the rest of them slept or explored or whatever. This allowed them to always have at least one person watching the door (one would stay while the other went to call the next pair when it was time to change shifts, and then the first person left too). However, hunger made it almost unbearable.
Syn and Czar were paired to watch the door one day. Syn was going to call the others when gunshots (two of them) echoed through the whole school. (No one is in sight at this point, so you can't see who has an alibi and who doesn't at this point). Everyone dropped whatever they were doing and ran to where they thought the shots had come from. After a few minutes, they heard three more shots.
They all converged at the same moment at the greenhouse door to find Bentoni, shot twice in the back of the head. He looked tiny in death, even tinier than he actually was. Monokuma's ridiculous corpse announcement told them they were going to have a Class Trial soon. However, looking for the source of the other three shots, they found Ken - the swordfighter who'd been extremely quiet during their entire stay - slumped against the wall, his eyes blank, two gunshot wounds in his stomach and another at his temple.
Monokuma (TV): We got another corpse! Oh this is too good to be true. Well, we'll see who's the daring double-murderer at the Class Trial.
Monokuma came up, laughing madly. He couldn't have looked more ecstatic.
Monokuma: What'd I tell you? Who failed now? Here's your Monokuma File #3!
Monokuma File #3: Both victims have died of gunshot wounds; one was shot twice in the head, the other twice in the stomach and once in the head.
