Multiplayer is the winner here. I could play Sonic 2 iOS multiplayer every time ............"........................if I only had powerful wifi but it's still great with games like animal Crossing,Mario Kart etc etc and etc a lot of fun games...

I can do it either way myself ;) with !multiplayer it all depends on who your playing with and what the game is, while singleplayer is really fun when you can't play multiplayer (or if the game doesn't have multiplayer)

I prefer single-player, I'm scared of people... i hide in my little hole
though i do play certain games that are multiplayer e.g. Pokemon, Team fortress and Starbound

I like both, I think it depends of the game because playing a game like Mario Party or a Fighting game alone is not good at least for me

Spontaneously, I'd say multiplayer games, but that's only Mario Kart and Smash Bros, so I guess I'm more for Sinble player games after all.

Its depends on what game I playednat that time..cause I dont really care if its multi or single player exactly .. I enjoyed played both of them, anyway great exprience on gaming is depends also on how you stimulates either played in both or neither of them..

Although I still prefer single player games, I found a new love for multiplayer games. However if I have to choose one and only one it would still be single player games. But since I don't I will enjoy both.

I can go either way, but me and my friends tend to not play the same games at all, so I end up single player most of the time anyway. This or I can't find a good moment when we are all available for a multiplayer session. The lack of "open" multipler on most of the 3DS games tend to make Multiplay difficult, I would like more "random matchmaking" multiplayer.

Multiplayer definitely, I like single player games as well but games with a multiplayer option that isn't too much off a hassle I play a lot more then single player. Example: My copy of Mario Kart 8 has about 24 hours played but Super Mario 3D World only has about 10

I think it depends on the game, some games would work great with multiplayer, while others would not. I am a fan of both though, but like I said up there, it depends on the game and how the mode is.

I prefer multiplayer games because it's always fun to hang around with your friends and/or family and play a fun game. at the end you could be congratulating each other or screaming at each other because they killed you. Single player is good for Story Mode, but it's always fun to meet up and play video games.

I'm mostly single player but I'd prefer a balance between the two.
A great game would have an outstanding single player gameplay with a good use of multiplayer option.
At least that is what I think.

Ps. the thing is connecting to the internet drains my 3DS battery really fast XD

On my 3ds system i kind of preffer a single player game but on the other hand i have acces to internet conection and nintendo network services that give us the possibility to play multiplayer games even in our handheld systems. Honestly I am a MK7 fan and I love all the circuits but you get to a point in which you feel ok I'm gonna beat the pc again, and so you start to postpone playing the game. on the other hand, when you can connect to nintendo network to race other people form all over the world the game turns again interesting and funny!

I think that I really prefer both , but depending on the game , then I'd say either :p but I think that personally I would like multiplayer games since the fun is really doubled or tripled or even so much more :p It's really cool to play with friends so that's why . I especially liked some of the game play too :p

I cna paly singleplayerg ames, which are pretty fun but add multiplayer to that game it makes it 3 times as fun! I want to buy ssb4, mostly for the reason that you can play multiplayer! Singleplayer for it is alright but it is really fun with multiplayer! :D Imagine Pokemon without multiplayer *shudders* EV's nad battle strats would go to waste

I can easily imagine Pokemon without mutiplayer since I never activate my internet connection with that game and only play the single player mode. What I can't imagine without a multiplayer mode though is Monster Hunter.

Anyway, answering the question.

Games that are full single players are great too but can sometimes get boring. It probably depends on the game and on people though but I didn't feel like A Link Between Worlds was lacking a multiplayer mode for example, I thought it was great as it is.

And games that are full multiplayer (we'll say like MH4U even though there is a single player mode) are great... as long as you find people to play with, but they are not so great when you're the only one in Europe to be willing to hunt a Tidal Najarala at 9 am, or when servers close (not so soon I hope).

So yeah, what I like most are games that are made to be played alone but with a multiplayer option, like Fantasy Life. You can finish the game alone (and you won't have problems when servers shut down if you want to play that game again) but you can also have fun with other people.

But i will personally go multiplayer games because it is kind of fun to play games with friends which love too much and i don't like single player games as after completing main story there is not much to do

I like both but multi can get annoying

I would prefer a mix, like Pokemon. You can go around and play solo, but you can also use multiplayer to battle with other people and trade with them etc. Alright, it's mostly solo I guess.
I do like multiplayer because you get to communicate and have more fun!
Hooray for multiplayer games, hooray for the internet, hooray for bubbles, hooray for blubber!
