The last movie I watched was Tammy :p it was pretty funny in the beginning, but gets really depressing and sad later on....
Some girl works in a hot dog, hamburger place, but gets fired. She looks for a job, which drives her out of the country. Her grandma and her do stuff, and Tammy finds a guy who is cute. Her grandma becomes an alcoholic, almost dies, Tammy and the guy fall in love, and her grandma stops her drinking problem :D

So the past few days I caught up on some other oscar-winning films.

Birdman was fantastic and I loved both the actors and the crew on this film. Seriously, those are some of the best looking transitions I've seen in awhile. The plot really thickens and gets incredibly intense and I loved every second of it. I'm also pretty happy the ending didn't do anything cliche which I was a bit in fear of once I realized the main conflict for Michael Keaton's character. Some smaller parts still confused me but that's also because I have yet to look up their significance. Overall, definitely think it deserved Best Picture.

The Theory of Everything I can see why Eddie Redmayne won Best Actor. It was a bit on the slower side at times but that's generally expected with movies based off a true story. I also give a lot of credit to whoever played Jane Hawking. Definitely came up as a bigger role than I expected. I think what made it the most enjoyable here is that they seemed to keep it true to Stephen Hawking's character which is one of the most important things to get down. They didn't go too cliche with the "good feeling" route and they didn't try to make it some sort of extreme sob story. They had a really nice balance that I think did a nice job reflecting the memories and struggles this couple had over their years.

you know the drill. xD

Last one I saw was Splice. That was such a freaky and weird movie. So random too. xD
The last movie that I saw was american sniper and it was absolutely brilliant and it was even better because it was based on a true story as well and at the same time it was also emotional as well because the lead in the film got killed by a veteran. R.I.P Chris Kyle

Last movie I saw was Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, it was decent at best.
I know what you mean by that because I thought that it would be so much better because of the trailer, but in the end it really failed to impress me and like you said it was decent at best when it could have been so much better in so many areas and if they had made a sequel to it then it would have probably been just as decent as that film

3 days to kill.
3 days to kill was an alright movie but it just didn't really have that much to offer to me and that it could have been a lot better in some areas of it

My Last movies I watched was Fast and Furious Six. RIP Paul Walker
Fast and Furious six is such a great movie and it's a pity that Paul walker is no longer with us when he could have kept on going and had an even greater career

Twas fun tho ^_^ many tears were shed in the process and as always only my eyes were practicing their tsunami movements although the kid from my class knew quite a lot, he couldn't deny my Harry Potter-queenskillz
