But i use it with the intent to kill and that makes it a weapon by your definition of weapon.

It is copy-pasted from Wiki and I clearly said DEVICE.
A weapon, arm, or armament is any device used with intent to inflict damage or harm to living beings, structures, or systems. I think that Fredbear would count. He's a device that I'm using to kill you. What do you say @PersonSP ?

But still you can't say a stupid suit is a weapon because it says device a suit is not a device. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Erm... Hate to break it to you but...
de·vice
dəˈvīs/
noun
  1. 1.
a thing made or adapted for a particular purpose, especially a piece of mechanical or electronic equipment.
    "a measuring device"

The Fredbear suit is a piece of mechanical equipment and despite its original purpose was to entertain children is has the potential to be a weapon.

I'd say it's more of an armour...but it's also kinda weaponish. Grey area.

But he can't use the suit. if he gets in there he will be killed by the mechanical parts.

Are we forgetting about what happened to Springtrap? He somehow stayed alive. And it would only kill me and I use the term kill very loosely. It would only kill me if the springlocks got wet.

Water style jutsu. Point made

It is a physical thing or it wouldn't kill people.

Oh. In that case, my invisibility is NOT a weapon. Let's go with summoning magic, then. I summon Ifrit, Leviathan, and Bahamut.

  • #253
I use the flying thunder god jutsu and evade everything.

  • #254
I summon Cognazzo (he's not a summon but shut your face).

You've got to be kidding me here. It is an ability! Abilities are non-material. The usage of the ability is what kills you, not the ability itself. If your logic counts then homicidal thoughts are weapons too.

The gun isn't the weapon. It's the wielder. At least, if you REALLY want to get deep into it, we should start with that, Ey?

That's what i was trying to say. It's not really the jutsu it's the one using the jutsu.

Although, in that case, I can have every weapon known to gaming and still only have one, since I'd be the weapon. So some discrepancy there.

What? Did you just misquote someone? A gun won't fire on it's own no, but the wielder is NOT the weapon. :hilarious:
There is a reason there are separate terms for "wielder" and "weapon". They are different things.

There is a difference between
a) Ability: possession of the means or skill to do something. (Whether it is a special talent or a weapon)
b) Weapon: a thing designed or used for inflicting bodily harm or physical damage
c) Wielder: the one employing the weapon

Anyhoo, a 'jutsu' is not a weapon, as it is an ability. Abilities are non-physical whereas weapons are.

Weapon don't have to be physical an ability created for combat is a weapon.
