What do you want to see in Monster Hunter 4?

Yeah right! btw, when you encounter the Lagiacrus for the first time you'll know what I'm talking about when he Thunderbolts you or something, sending you into mild-paralysis xD A little magic would be awesome!
Qurupeco or Royal Ludroth are the earliest examples of an (boss) enemy using elemental attacks in Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate. Although the Qurupeco just uses the Flintstones(capitalized because it is an item in game) in its claws to cause the fire, so Royal Ludroth would probably be the earliest.

I have still not encountered any monster that has used any magic on me except for the wild encounter with the Lagiacrus.

1) Was this in the water? and 2) I don't think it was magic. If I recall, the lightning bolts come from its back.

From the back or the front doesn't matter, it was elemental! It sent me into some kind of paralysis or something.

Yes there are elemental attributes. There are also status attributes. Anyways from what I can tell you were succumbed to Thunderblight. To make sure I will ask a couple questions. First, were you still able to move around and second, was there a lightning icon near to your life and stamina?

Yes to both questions, I could move around but my body had these electric bolts around it and the icon was there too.

Yep you were afflicted by Thunderblight. You can wait until it goes away(I think it does), use a Stormsender Seed(if they are in the game), or something called a Nulberry(which I found out about for that game.)

i wanna fight golden Rajang again~! i dunno. i kinda miss him in a way. lol.

i was disappointed when i was told that MH3U doesn't have him. so i didn't buy that. but since he will be in MH4U, i'll definitely get that~! but i hope thay don't remove the Graceful Amatsu Magatsuchi, the ferocious Nargacuga, and the electrifying Zinougre. they're my favorite monsters. not to mention they have cool armor sets~!

I would love to have a place where you can go jump off a cliff from a very high altitude, and then when you land, there would be a monster that would come out of the sea and attack everyone.

Much better camera angle, a bit faster combat, some magic and sorcery won't hurt either. The camera angle is the main thing.
I'm a sucker for anything with magic/sorcery. I wouldn't mind enchanting your weapons with different elemental attributes, to be effective against a monster, based by it's terrain maybe (sea monster~thunder lance). I've played the demo, and the camera angle was a bit annoying, so I'd be happy for better camera angles.

I think it would be cool for their to be online multiplayer instead of just local play. me and my friends would play it together a lot more if we could like that!

I think there is already on online multiplayer introduced in the Monster Hunter 4 announcement trailer, I'm looking forward to that feature most of all.

I was saying that I want Monster Hunter 4 to have online since the 3DS version of Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate didn't have it. I don't have a Wii U to play the game. I wish I did though.

Yep, monster hunter 4 has online feature. There is no reason for no online play in monstar hunter 4 ultimate. Stay calm and wait for the game comes out on 2015!

Lol, I think they were calm, but I agree with you there is no reason for it not to have online play, but since they announced the online play on the same day as this game was announced (to come to NA and EU), I think they had the right idea at the beginning of everything. :)

I'd like to see a couple things-
1) More diverse monsters. Subspecies are nice, but they still don't change the fact that its the same old monster with the same attack patterns
2)A variety of quests other than just hunt
3)A Dynamic Weather System

Wishlist
1)Mounts- Need I say more?

Not trying to bash, but what other kinds of quests would there be? We have gathering quests and everybody hates those lol

An example I could give would be an escort mission. You need to save a target from an attacking monster. If the target dies, you lose. Maybe there can be some actual NPC villagers in the Moga Woods. If they ever get attacked and you save them, you get some compensation from them. Another possibility could be a quest to break up a monster fight. 2 monsters are locked in battle, but the fight might just spillover into local villages. Your job is to break up the fight (so this time, the monsters won't be focused on you, but can still hit you in the crossfire). These are just some ideas, I'm sure Capcom can come up with better ones.

Free DLC quest, like the Monster Hunter games on the PSP. I also hope that MH4U will have the Jinouga (English name being Zinogre) in it, and some of the chromatic monsters we have in Monster Hunter Portable 3 (like the Gold Rathian or the Silver Rathalos, hard to beat, but they have awesome loots).

Although if they don't add this, I'll be satisfied as long as we have online on the 3DS version (I know it has been confirmed).

Yeah, I enjoy the DLC quests. They aren't that much different than the regular quests, but it's great how we can get face special monsters and get special weapons and armor. It's also really nice of Capcom to release this content for free.
