I randomly played it somewhere idk know though
 
Gameboy Color.

First game I had for a nintendo handheld. I got it when I was a kid, and had fun since then.

I played it on a friend's GameBoy back in the day and I fell in love with the game instantly. At that time I didn't play much but I got a couple hours of gameplay in when I could. I was looking a Gym straight in the eye but something was blocking my path so I couldn't challenge the gym leader, unfortunately. Trying to figure out a way to proceed made it even more interesting, :love:

Of course, I just continued where my friend left off on his save file so everything was confusing, :confused:

I had never played pokémon so I decided to buy heart gold. I fell in love with the game. I didn't have too much interest in the Black and White games so Pokémon X is only my second pokémon game. I was browsing around the web when I hheard some rumours about two new pokémon games Pokémon X and Y. what I heard sounded pretty good so I figured I'd just google it. When I saw the official website I got super excited. I read the entire website, compared X and Y excessively, watched all videos and decided the game was a must-have. I planned on where to go at the release date and the day the game came out I rushed to the store to buy a 3ds XL and Pokémon X. :love:

Well my brother had a Gameboy emulator in which he used to play pokemon game boy games and he used to let me train his pokemon,that's when I trained his pokemon very good and help his pokemon gained a lot of stats.I also helped him to catch some pokemon legendary as well as normal pokemon that is when I felt myself lost in the game and playing it for hours.

My parents bought my brother and I a gameboy, and let us choose between the two games Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. I picked Pokemon Blue.
 
Played the original gameboy (with Pokemon Red) it was a cousins console/game though, I didn't own one at the time. Good times, loved every minute of it! :D

this was some time ago though, I feel so old now. I was a young kid back then. xD
 
I got Pokemon Fire Red For my 8th Birthday. I had no idea there was such a thing as Pokemon Video Games. Played that thing to smithereens. For 10 Years Ive been a Fan and sometimes friends ask me if I am too old for that stuff. After promptly walking away from their burnt ashes I whisper to myself "Fire only burns the weak".
 
Back in like 5th grade, one of my best friends invited me to his house, to play. While we were there, he showed me two games he had, that would soon become some of my favorites of all time: Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Pokemon Soul Silver. Within a month or two, I got my first DS lite, and Soul Silver. I still love that game even now. :)

Well, it started a loonnnngg time ago when I first got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Exploreres Of Sky. I know what you are thinking, "What the heck is this kid talking about?! This is a Spin-Off!", and a reassure you, this is only the beginning. After I played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky for about a combined total of 500 hours I wondered what the real pokemon games were like. After that, I got Pokemon HeartGold and fell in love with Pokemon. Ever since then I have not been able to stop playing it. I LOVE POKEMON!

At first, I never actually liked pokemon, there were so many, any it was too confusing for me, but my friend kept talking over and over again about it. He always tried to talk me into playing the game,. It took many months, but finally, i bought my first pokemon game. BEST DAY EVER! I loved it, and played it for hours and hours and hours and hours at a time, and I kept learning, and getting better at it, and now, I'm even better at it than my friend is. And today, I still play pokemon constantly for hours. So, the moral of this story is, one little thing or person, can change your life forever.

In texas i was only 7 or 8 when i discovered my mom collected the cards. Shortly after i found out they had a show. After watching it i fell in love with the show and wanted to have battles too. The first game i played was sapphire for gba. the game was fun but grew boring after i got all pokemon. havent touched since but i still enjoy pokemon verry much.

well, i like pokemon since my childhood but i will say that famous youtuber muching orange and his video force me to get in pokemon world and i did .i am happy that i did and also amie was also great motiva me .

What got me into Pokémon are my cousins they played it when I was young and I watched them play.Battling looked very interesting.After I was five I recieved my very own Ds lite and then I started playing Pokemon Heartgold.It was the first game I have ever played and I will always love that game ;).Pokemon grew better and better each generation.It develops further as you get older.So I think when I'm old I'll still probably be playing Pokemon on the latest console.I'll keep playing it until I die.

i'm pretty sure the only thing that got me into the series was seeing all the different kinds of pokemon in the games. when i started the game, i didn't know anything about EV's or IV's (or anything, really) and i just used whatever pokemon looked the best at the time :cat:

Always thought pokemon was lame... till I actually decided to give pokemon diamond a try. Best.Discussion.Eva! Turtwig named "lolo" as ma first pokemon went all da way to cynthia, (who was super hard for noobs) and da only way I could beat her garchomp was with ma blizzard dialga (who would usually run out of pp in the elite four). Yup. Gewd times~ Been playing every pokemon game since! Even went back and played the older gens!

may be your decision make you pokemon fan but i suggest to play 6 generation game those games are dramatic , amazing , fabulous and grapices had give those pokemon games a new life , thanks to game freak

well im glad to know how you got into pokemon. well i plan to get rid of pokemon y and keep the legends not in duos or trios. if you want a duo or trio let me know and also include your offer.

I just saw it was popular and I saw the game being played and the blurb on the back of all the game boxxes, so I decided to get Pokemon Platinum and then another Platinum and then Diamond and Pearl idk how i got all that but I did I think my friend gave me some and I found a card off the street on some random place but I can't remember xD
