I'm pretty much an atheist, though I tell myself that after death you get pick a fictional world to go to and you live a life there and after you die in that life you pick another one etc. and you can pick a world multiple times if you wish. I don't full on believe this, but hey, no one's directly told us what death is like, so anything could happen! I have no problem with religions and religious people, except for those who think everyone else's beliefs suck and want to force the world to think like them.

How can you not believe in God he died for and you are over here being rude "I'm not a slave" and did he whine when he was carrying his cross and cruzified no and I'm a Christian and living without God is like a sharpen pencil because there is no point and I argued with a athiest one time and I gave him some sense and he probably believes what I say rn because it is true so I hope you open your eyes and realize what you are saying because if you are a science beliver than why do you have a feeling that something is missing??? And hopefully I wasn't rude so I hope you can take a moment to realize who your father is .

laughing.1.the bible is fake(ficton) 2.religious people cant ask questions about the universe. 3. they pray to no one. 4.they destroy all rejections to their religion. 5. they are money grabers(know your history). 6. thinking that god exist is evolution humans need a role model,in modern society god is irrelevant. 7. church schools are dumb. 8.GOD a dude flying around in the sky with a cloud. 9.some mexican guy named "jesus" exist.10. religion is cancer its only a matter of time till it stops existing.

I suggest you go back to preschool and get your facts straight >.> I can't honestly tell between the trolling and the downright misinformation. Especially since you stated at the beginning of the thread that you did not want any fights.

See, you cannot call atheists "scientists" as they are rejecting a belief that they cannot prove false just like you say that religious people cannot prove their beliefs real.

And, for your information, religious beliefs aren't there to neither make money, nor make people go to churches (I barely EVER go to a church) nor try to discover the laws of reality, nor hypnotize people into rejecting science. They have different objectives as every belief is different.

All in all, what's holding mankind back is not religion, but stuck-up people who can't accept other ways of living.

I hear god is omniscient. Am i right? If he is then does that mean he knew adam and eve would sin right in front kf him. He damned himanity from the start. And if he did make us, why would he set rules that went against the very program that he built into us. And yes, he loves hs so much he would send us to 'hell' if we didnt follow him or his rules. In my opinion , we dont go back church to the worship god. God goes to church to wo ship us because we have free will. Whateve god does is a necessity(assuming there is a god ir gods out there)

...kekekekekek jk jk. I'm an atheist. Honestly, I don't think religions matter too much in the end. I mean, I think of all religions like fandoms. There are some who casually like whatever it is, and then there are those who get a bit too intense about their fandom and tend to live and breathe it, and try to get other people into the fandom or pick fights with people who don't like fandoms. Not everyone is like that, but there ARE those weirdos in everyone. Just accept others for who they are, regardless of if they're satanic, or a scientologist, or whatever, and it will all be good. And if you can't do that, stop devoting so much of your life to religion, and take up a less intense hobby, like Magic: The Gathering, or Pokemon Go :p

Nobody claims to understand everything that their religious figure does (at least, nobody I've ever heard of has). As far as God worshiping humans, that sentence was just laughable. Every religious figure I know of also has free will, so that makes no sense.

I don't care for religious preference, I'm Christian, just don't hate on other people for their religion or if they don't care for religion. It's not that big of a deal

@cloudmario666 please stop with your ignorant rambling, it shows that you know little to none about religion. If you don't like religion, don't bash it before someone puts you in your place.

How does it not make sense? It is just stating that at skme point there was a massive explosion that caused numerous gases ,liquids and solids to spread about the cosmos which created planets ,stars ,moons and belts as the masses clumped togtether. Can't get any simpler than that except: huge boom! Planets formed and so did the stars and suns.

To me, a random explosion forming everything in the universe doesn't make much sense.

I didn't say that it didn't make sense, I said that I think that the existence of God still makes more sense than The Big Bang Theory. Though, I have a theory that God caused The Big Bang.

EDIT: I agree with Candy, it doesn't make very much sense.

The Big Bang Theory In a Nutshell

Step 1: There is nothing in this world.
Step 2: Something explodes for some reason even though there is nothing.
Step 3: Explosions.
Step 4: Even moar explosions.
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit.

I kind of just dissed my "God caused The Big Bang" theory, but it still makes sense to me. XP

My goodness there is a breach of logic here. How would you feel if I walked up to you and said i saw jesus and i am just a modem for him to speak to you? Vs an explosion caused millions to die but it made a new lake. And you say the explosion doesnt make any more sense than god? Here is a fact, religion can hurt more than it can do good.

I would require proof. And what does a fact that religion CAN do more harm than good have anything to do with whether a god created the universe or a big bang? A being creating the universe makes more sense to me than an explosion out of nowhere whether or not religion CAN do more harm than good. And yes, some religions do more harm than good, but not all of them do.
