"A noble greeting. You have the heart of a true warrior." The man said, while shaking Eric's hand. "My name is Killia, and I know of what you all seek..." Killia took 5 paces in the opposite direction of the group, turned, and started to talk. "All of you wish to gain power so that you can beat the tyrant Laharl, and ultimately defeat Overlord Naether, am I correct?" The group was astonished by the inside knowledge Killia knew about them.

"Well, that pretty much sums it up, yeah," Eric replied. "By the way, my name is Eric and here is my... Friend who happens to look exactly like me, Cire."

Azura looked him in the eye and asked "So how do we level up?" Azura flared his power. At it's highest point Azura's power was just a tiny bit lower than equal to Killia's.

"You needn't trouble yourself with introductions. I know exactly who you all are..." Killia said.

"Well..." Eric was honestly speechless. "Okay. I'll pretend that your all seeing eye and all knowing brain doesn't creep me out a bit."

Killia's power level shot up again once more, making Azura and the others look miniscule to that of his own. "Theres only one thing you need to do: defeat me in battle." Killia said while preparing for battle.

"I'm down for that!" The deadline began feeding Azura power until he once again was equal to Killia.

"All of you may come at once, if that is what you wish." Killia said.

Killia took a look at the dark aura surrounding Azura. "Well then, brave warriors don't sit twiddling their thumbs!" Killia said, raising his power even more...

"Well... I'm all game. I want to see this guy's power!" Eric declared.

"I will fight if Eric fights," Cire followed up stepping up to the challenge.

Azura created ice shields for the melee characterss and lightning arrows for the archers. "Let's get this show on the road!" The deadline gave Azura so much energy and power that Killia was the 1 getting dwarfed by Azura.

"Cire, ready?"

"DOUBLE CROSSBOW ATTACK!" They both yelled and started running towards Killia.

"Is that it?" Killia said, while waiting for the three to finish attacking. In the blink of an eye, Eric and Cire were suddenly on their knees, with Killia standing behind them, clinching his fist. "I'd advise you to keep you guards up." Killia said.

Killia felt some thing hit him with the force of a nuclear blast "DON'T HIT MY FRIENDS!"Azura roared.

"Whoa... That's some power... Cire you alright?" Cire stuck his thumb up. "That's what I love about battling other people. You get to experience their strength first hand," Eric said getting up. "But, as I was making that corny as hell speech..." Eric pointed to the thermo nuclear bomb at Azura's feet. "You're about to get it," And he pressed the button.

Killia felt multiple nuclear bombs hit him. "Yeesh...those bombs of yours are some serious stuff! Still, your going to require a lot more than that for any chance against me." Killia said.

Azura stole all of the power from the blast and his dark aura was so powerful plants inside of it began to wilt.

"Hmm..." Killia walked over to Azura, ignoring the aura and rested his hand on Azura's chest, pulling out a sphere with various dark bugs and evil power, and crushing it. Laura's power began to dwindle, and he no longer felt the effects of the Deadline Virus.

"Thanks Eric!" Now Azura walked toward Killia with a huricane of elemental magic surrounding him.
