Do You Want The "New" Nintendo 3DS/XL?

Even though I'm mad about that move from nintendo, I,ll get it anyway. I spend so much time on my 3DS that I see it as an investment, and I want to be able to sell me 3DS XL while it's still worth something. I'm really interested in the new features, and I fear to miss out on some N3ds Exclusives if I don't get it... Moreover, I'm really interested in more online speed, I hope this will solve some lags between players at some point.

I'm not sure yet. I have some reasons why I want it, but I already have a 3DS, I finally have a Wii U (I had Wii U for a week now), so, I might say no, Maybe I would trade in my 3DS for it, but I don't know how to. Like, do I need the 3DS box to trade it in? Can I just trade the 3DS by itself in no box?

I don't know, there might be some New 3DS exclusive games that would make me interested in getting one. Otherwise I'm fine with my regular 3DS XL as it is.

Duh lol why wouldn't anyone want it. It is superior to the original in every aspect. It is the console nintendo should have released a long time ago and it is finally here! I do want it but I'll wait a while to see what other exclusive games come out for it.
But still. .double circle pads and 2 more r and l buttons! This truly surpasses every other handheld console out there.

The answer to this question is in your post.

Yeah, that's the console they should have released before we all bought 3DSes, and it's finally here when we no longer have money.

No, I have watched the Nintendo Direct.
And advertising for the New Nintendo 3DS (xl).
I saw no particular new possibilities for a brand new system.
Only for an NFC reader and a new 3D and three new buttons.
I'm not going to buy a new 3ds.
I'll wait until Nintendo system's going to make special.

Edit from Mod: I fixed that typo, sounded weird otherwise. (PS: This edit will auto-destroy itself tomorrow)

I'm not too happy with Nintendo sneaking this one on us, either... though I must admit that I'll probably be one of the first people in line for it come February 13.

I'm a huge fan of the 3DS; it's my favourite handheld yet. I think the New 3DS XL is the system the 3DS should have been when it was released. These improvements, though seemingly minor, will definitely make the system feel new.

It's similar to current models, but it's different enough to be considered an upgrade... and I'd rather have the better system.

I wish they wouldn't make certain games exclusive to this new system, though. It isn't fair to the people who don't have an interest in upgrading.

Well, it's not so much different from when we had an upgrade from DS to DSi. I should have seen the New 3DS coming, Nintendo tends to repeat itself... which is sort of why I like them; I always know what to expect from them.

I want the new Nintendo 3DS because it seems much better than normal 3ds because it has several improvements and of course that has very good design and color:):):)

I personally like to buy the New 3DS because of the new features that it contain, but the thought of spending another $200+ for a console that technically does the same? I dunno if it's totally worth it anymore.

I want it, But I probably won't buy it till the majority of the world has ditched the 3ds. There's a few things that bother me about it though. One is, the gamecard slot being on the bottom? Why'd they do that? I feel like I'm going to be accidentally ejecting the card every hour or so. They should've left it on the top, In my opinion. Also, Secondly, It KINDA irks me because the A,B,X, Y buttons are colored, and the rest isn't? I dunno, It's OCD haha xD. I'm probably not going to buy it when it releases, I'll probably wait for a price drop or something :D

Can i trade my 3DS xl for discount on the new version? :( Then i'd be willing to do it :D
Also the improved 3D and Amiiboare worth it.

I really do not want to buy it. First of all, you have to pay more for a very small upgrade. Gamestop is giving 75 dollars towards trade in to the new 3ds. But that still is not worth it. Second of all, no ordinary new 3ds. If you want to save money, you would go for the smaller version but here in the Us, you can not do that sadly. 3rd of all, they still will make games for the ordinary 3ds so it should be ok to not upgrade. Overall, I will just wait until the next nintendo handheld comes out, I will just buy that instead.

Gamestop is giving 100 dollars when you trade in a qualifying 3ds xl.

Do not worry, you are fine. They will still make games for the ordinary 3ds, just some overpowered games can not be on the ordinary 3ds or 3ds xl so that is why thay made the new 3ds. Do not worry one bit.

Well, I live in North America so the only option is the New 3DS XL, though I planned on getting it either way.

Can't wait!

I really want it and was gonna get the small version of it from Europe because the small one isn't coming out over here. However, that thing is $170 (including the Majora's mask special edition which I also want) that I don't have. My family is going through a tough time right now financially so I'll be lucky to get any birthday gifts.
