I am thinking of starting to give away fossils to those who haven't finished their collections for play coins.
But I am unsure how I would be able to send them to people? Would you please tell me how to do it?

I'm assuming you're talking about ACNL, you'll have to both register one another's friend codes and organize a time to be online and trade. You can start a thread in the Nookling Junction.

No. You have to send the Play Coins to the winner.

See the screenshot below :

Find the person and click on the number that the arrow points to. An overlay should appear. Enter the amount of Play Coins that you want to transfer (comment is optional), hit proceed and confirm. This can also be done by going to a member's full profile. You can also view your Transaction History by hovering your mouse over 'Play Coins' in the navigation menu and clicking 'Transaction History'.

You can start battling gym leaders right now - http://forum.3dspedia.com/forums/pkmn-league/

Look for the threads with the yellow gym prefix and ask for a gym battle. You have to pay the gym leader 3 Play Coins per challenge, so you should read this to learn how to start earning Play Coins here :3

I don't think members can delete their own threads (normally it's an option under thread tools below the thread's title). You can report it (press the report button or private message a staff member) and ask for its deletion though.

Ah yes hello I wanted to know about selling items on AC:NL to other players wanting them (tweeter etc.) how does one recieve play coins upon selling the items? Also what happens if I sell the item but the person doesn't give me any coins?

If the person doesn't give you Play Coins, you can report the person but you'll also have to provide proof.

You should receive an alert when someone sends you Play Coins. I'm sending one Play Coin to you as a test with a comment right now. From the navigation menu, hover over Play Coins and select Transaction History to see more transaction details.
