I'm planning on starting a contest, but I'm wondering how I give Play Coins, do my coins automatically get deducted and given to the winner?
I was
Hello everyone,

Welcome to the new Nookling Junction forum. Here, you can spend those hard earned Play Coins on 3DS in-game items (eg. AC:NL, Pokemon, etc). In addition, you can host or participate in contests with Play Coins as the reward.

What are Play Coins and how do I earn them? - Play Coins are the virtual forum currency of this forum. Members can earn them by posting in the forums, winning a contest, or by selling/auctioning 3DS in-game content (eg. a silver shovel in Animal Crossing: New Leaf - the item can be traded over Wi-Fi). Play Coins can also be used to get eShop codes from me.

Feel free to be creative with your ideas to earn Play Coins. Tasks that members are required to do at another website are not allowed unless approved by staff (eg. filling out a survey or watching an advertisement at "domain.com"). However, this rule is void only when the website is related to clicking on a virtual pet image to level it up (website must be safe for all ages).

Some stuff that you can do with Play Coins:
  1. You can buy/sell/auction Animal Crossing: New Leaf in-game items.
  2. You can buy/sell/auction Pokemon X/Y in-game content (eg. items, EV trained Pokemon, etc).
  3. You can buy/sell services such as EV training and IV breeding (eg. Pokemon - IV Breeding shop)
  4. You can host your own raffle like me.
  5. You can participate in official contests to win Play Coins (eg. Pokemon contests, AC:NL contests, etc).
  6. You can host your own contest and give away Play Coins as the reward.
  7. You can create your own Graphic Design shop and tackle requests in exchange for Play Coins.
  8. And a lot more by being creative.
About Prefixes :

The Nookling Junction forum at 3DS Pedia takes advantage of a feature called "Prefixes" to organize threads inside of the forum. When creating a new thread, you have the option of using a prefix.

If you have any questions, please ask and I will try my best to answer them, :)
I was wondering, I don't know what you mean by graphics shop. Can you please explain It to me?

A thread where you create images for people using a graphic design program such as PhotoShop or GIMP for PC.

Would having a battle bet with Pokemon Showdown be adequate despite it not being a 3DS/Wii U game?

Edit: I mean for making a thread bet for it.

I recently joined this forum and i wanted to start a pokémon shop. The problem is that i created a site (in a previous forum) and i didn't want to re-type the whole things in the site into a thread. Can the shop thread be the link to the shop site? It wouldn't only be the link of course, i would put some info and other stuff but i really wanted to know if there's any problem. Cheers!

Why can't you copy/paste the details into the thread?

If it's a Google spreadsheet with images or a list from a Pokemon trade list site like Poke Trade, it's fine.

How would one go over the option of an auction its not really live action now is it?

  • #133
It's through posts. You open a topic stating "Auction will end on "date" at "set the hour using Pedia Time"" and you're good to go. People will post their bids.

Hi! I'm a pretty new here at this forum and would like to start my own pokemon-related shop on this site. I wanted to know if it was okay to post my email onto the thread I create so people could email individually when it comes to receiving pokemon and/or items. Is this allowed? Thank you!

You should use private messages instead. You will see an alert by "Inbox" from the navigation menu when someone sends you a new private message. You can also send members a private message by going to their profile and clicking "Start a Conversation".

Yeah, you earn play coins by making good posts or transfer your play coins to someone else!

how can I Sell Pokemon?

how can I Sell Pokemon?
Create a thread in the Nookling Junction and list the details of what you're selling. You can then exchange friend codes with the person who is interested in purchasing your Pokemon for Play Coins, then the person can send you the Play Coins.

IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET PLAY COINS AND TO GET THE AMOUNT NEEDED FOR THE ESHOP CODES WHY IS THIS PLEASE ANSWER

  • #140
It's probably because someone has to pay for the e-shop codes *cough* @Marc *cough*
And I find this site is more about the socializing with other players that like and play the same games as you:p also, you don't just come here and get play coins instantly, it actually has to be challenging to get the amount needed for a code! If not, Marc would be broke because everyone would be getting them
