What is the WORST Nintendo 3DS game?

I think New Super Mario Bros 2 tops my list because it feels like a scaled up version of New Super Mario Bros DS. It isn't terribly bad or anything, it's just disappointing. I really didn't get into it as much as other games, and I quickly found it at the bottom of my video game backlog.

There's the really bad shovelware licensed games, and in fact I found Zelda: OoT 3DS to be terribly overrated. Nowhere near as good as they say it was, but yeah that's the most overrated game. Worst game is probably just the shovelware.

I thought Ocarina of Time was excellent. It certainly wasn't the worst game on the system, and it felt like a pretty quality of game. I don't think it's the best game of all time, but it deserves some merit. In fact, it's one of the top reviewed 3DS games alongside ALBW (although reviewers usually just write what the readers want to hear).

Definitely the eShop title Block Factory. Seriously, it's so dang limited it should be called ripoff factory, since that's all you can make, game ripoffs! The worst game I've ever bought from the 3DS eShop

some people will hate me, but I'd have to say Kid Icarus - Uprising. That game really wasn't was I expected at all, and it didn't really interest me all that much. The 3D-ness is ok, though. I felt they could've done much better with the game.

Project X Zone

-Repetitive battles
- All characters pretty much play the same
- Plot is paper thin
- Little to no difficulty and battles drag on way longer then they should

The only thing the game offers is pretty much fanservice, and with all its flaws, its definitely one of the games I regret buying the most.

I think I should become the Angry 3DS Nerd just to complain about the games in this topic. It is enough for a Youtube series, after all.

Maybe Farming Simulator 2014 (who buys that?!)

To me the worst I've played are Crimson Shroud and Super Mario 3Dland. Crimson Shroud is a really passive game and it's hella ugly. I expected way more. The story is good but it's not a game more an interactive book. Super Mario 3Dland is super easy and I got bored halfway through world 2. Thanks to streetpass I've got 149 lives by now so I'm pretty immortal too making it an extremely boring game.

As sodajet said, New super Mario bros 2 was disapointing, but it is definetely not the worst 3ds game. There are many crappy eshop games, but I am looking more into the games they sell both on eshop and in stores. So it has to be some kind of a lego game... And I think Oot 3d doesnt Count as a 3ds game, more as a n64 game.

It's not the wrost Nintendo 3Ds game but the one I didn't enjoy at all was One Piece Unlimited Red. I had to return it to the shop for credits... It was always the same thing over and over again, I got bored pretty fast...

My turn now! I'll probably say Super Mario 3D Land because I got bored after playing it for 10 hours.
Another one would be Pokémon Y since I can't seem to enjoy the fights, trainings, and I don't have any friends aside of my sister, which never wants to duel me, so it's quite boring after a while.

Also, Project X Zone is a suite to Namco X Capcom, so it HAD to be similar in terms of plot, gameplay and design, except with a little more 3D.

Also, I'm not a fan of Kid Icarus - Uprising, or Animal Crossing : New Leaf, but I can't complain since I've never bought either of them (I'm not really a fan of Kid Icarus or Animal Crossing).

The funny thing is that Super Bear Shark actually started out as an animation on Nintendo Video and it was pretty decent. The game was the whole reason that they stopped making videos, so yeah, it must have been a pretty bad game to have stopped Nintendo from uploading those videos... but I do know of a game so bad that you can get it for only 99 cents at your local GameStop... Burger King Racing. Yeah that is an actual game, hard to believe... The 99 cent thing is true, too. Its basically Burger King's version of the popular (and awesome!) Mario Kart franchise. You choose one of Burger King's mascots (or the Burger King himself) and race in different cups. Yeah that game is REALLY bad.

Steel Diver. That shipwreck (get it) of a game was the only one I've ever returned to the store.

Gummi Bears 3d
The game is so ugly like possible for a 3ds game.
It has lots of Glitches and the 3d hurts your eyes
Why did you liscense that Nintendo?WHY?!

From my list is Paper Mario Sticker Star, is not fun and it doesn't have a story or a funny dialogue (only on start).

please bear in mind i am eating slices of cheese as it type, so my opinion may be dairy addled. But in all honesty, i have yet to download a game i don't like. The titles i choose are usually from developers i like. incidentally, i enjoy 3D Arcade Classics lol. It reminds me of the good old days when i could pop a quarter into a machine. I do usually pick games that hit some kind of nostalgia factor for me, though. Take a look at Gunman Clive. It has a very Megaman-esque vibe to it. Some would say it sucks because it's a copy cat. I love it because it hits a spot of enjoyment i haven't felt since megaman 6 (yes i went there, Capcom. Hire Keiji Inafune back now!!!)
