Gen 6 Who is your ORAS starter?

For AS I picked Treeko because it is strong against Team Aqua but the hard part is battling the first gym leader.

The first gym is Rock type though, isn't it? Grass types shouldn't have any trouble

I haven't gotten Omega Ruby quite yet, (I'll hopefully get it with Black Friday. ) but when I do get it eventually, I'll definitely pick Treecko. I have Pokemon Emerald (GBA), and I picked Treecko in that game, and loved him! With the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Demo, I also got Grovyle first (Even though you get the other two after the first adventure.), and I loved his new Mega (Especially with the addition of Dragon-typing.)! Besides, I already have Mega Blaziken in Y from the event.

And yes, Roxanne is a Rock-type gym leader, and so Treecko should be pretty easy to beat her with.

I always use treeko, which is I asked. Grass types have no trouble there, though in all fairness most of treeko's better grassmoves were learned afterwards. You mostly had Bullet Seed and Absorb so power wasn't your friend.

Yes, but you don't need almost any effort on that gym with Treecko. Even Bullet Seed and Absorb can win you a gym badge.

My OR starter will be Treecko when I get the game, because he is underrated and he becomes a dragon type when he mega evolves!

I'm looking forward to starting with Treecko when I get the game. The reason I'll pick Treecko is simple: I don't like the Mudkip line, I've already had the Torchic line in my last playthrough of a Pokemon game (Pokemon Y) and most importantly, Treecko is born with a stick in its mouth!

I really want to see what is his mega form looks like and there's a lot of water trainers in Oras, iirc. So choosing Treecko is a no-brainer for me.

I'm choosing Treecko since he was amazing in the anime and is so cool with the stick in its mouth and leaf blade. Ever since I was little I chose treecko and I wont change that

For those who played x and y and got the mega blaziken like me probably wont choose torchic for that reason. ill be choosing treeko cause its a grass dragon and im not sure thats been done before. regardless of what the first gym type is its gonna be treeko

Torchic has always been the cutest in my own opinion. Plus, fire-fighting type!!!

I usually choose the Fire starter but this time I chose Treecko because Torchic's last evolutions are really ugly. Yeah, that's not really the point of Pokemon but I don't care, I really hate Blaziken's design. He looks like a dumb enemy in a cheap MMORPG.
You can probably tell I am not the EV/IV type of person
