Worst Regret Ever in any Pokemon Game?

I regret my habit of using only my starter back then. I always ended up having an overleveled starter while the other five Pokemon on my team suffered. I didn't really run into much problem until Tate and Liza's gym on Emerald. Why? Because I got Torchic as a starter and this gym's Claydol/Barboach loves spamming Earthquake. Always 1OHKO'd Blaziken. And well, the other underleveled pokemon in my team just get rolled on haha.

Would have saved me a lot of frustration if I didn't play like that
Used to do that at first but then as time went on it was almost the other way around :p

I had been doing that for every game I played from Red and on, until Heart Gold, where I went with raising 5 at the same time after doing a test run on Crystal, which turned out to have amazing results! Then on Platinum only raised 3 and on Black just 2, but jumped back to 5 in White (even encountered THE weirdest thing EVER in my White game thanks to it, my Unfezant wasn't weak to Rock attacks)!

Back when I played HeartGold I killed the red Gyarados by accident. My finger slipped and pressed an attack, if only my Pokemon were at a lower level than the Gyarados it could have taken a little damage and not faint at least.

Playing it.. Just kidding! My worst regret was: I lost 1 of my favorite games. It was Pinball Ruby & Sapphire. I played it alot on emulators, and once, I got it for my birthday. I played it sometime, but it disappeared somehow. We had more lost\not working games, like my brother's Pokemon Crystal..

My first big Pokemon regret was using my Masterball on a Psyduck in Pokemon Pearl. I was around 6 or 7, and I've since restarted that game 50 or so times, so it's forgivable, though still a little funny to think back upon.
My actual big regret though, is selling and/or losing most of my Spin-Off and a few main series Pokemon games. I used to have Explorers of Time, Darkness, Sky, and Blue, all 3 Ranger games, and Pearl, Platnium, Soul Silver, Black, White 2, and Conquest, and all that remains in Blue, Pearl, Soul Silver, Black and Conquest. I had never beaten most of the other ones, and most were lost forever due to being an irresponsible 8 year old child.
To sum it up I sold Sky and I'll never forgive myself.

I was testing if I could hold a button on Pokemon Diamond and see if it would activate. Turns out a simple touch will activate it.

Meaning I wasted my Master Ball on a RATATTA.

Mine was trading my Yveltal to a friend who soon after reset his game and did not trade my mon back :(

Did you see the winning teams at pokemonworlds this year? Basically all the same pokemon were used. I want to be in a meta where we have diversity. Where i can use pokemon I love and not have to say "Dammit, Its ANOTHER "insert overused pokemon name here." I wanna see a meta where we can all use mons we love and STILL be competitive instead of KNOWING the most used movesets on pokemon.
Every single time I start playing and I see the legendaries or kangaskhan or whatever, I know I'm most likely going to lose.

My worst regret, is giving up my Pokemon games to a game trade place in order to get money, but it was either that or not having money to pay my electricity, but i still regret it because i had a lot of event pokemon on each.

I remember back then during the Pokemon Black and White times that I missed some event where you can get Keldeo. So I sort of already beat the game and it was starting to get a little boring so I kinda stopped playing it for some months or so and soon it was already long past the event when I heard of it ;-;

Losing Black 2 :(
I had loads of fun with that game

My biggest pokemon regret was probably resetting my pokemon black 2 game while my Blaziken from Emerald was on there. That was my absol-ute (Punny right XD) favorite pokemon and my first lv 100 that was 100% legit. RIP Blaziken :'(

Finding a shiny Swadloon in my Pokemon White. I was able to catch it, evolve it and take great care of it. Till, I, the foolish 11-year-old I was back then decided to delete the save file; even knowing how rare it was to find a shiny Pokemon RANDOMLY and out of nowhere.

...I hadn't the slightest clue either how hard it would be now to find someone willing to trade a legit shiny Leavanny, Sewaddle, or Swadloon.

In my pokemon alpha sapphire while making junk pokemon free accidentally i realesed my very favourite shiny umbreon which was kinda heart broking for me

And i also wasted my master ball on stupid pokemon tropius . i even don't realised that i used my master ball when it was caught and i was looking at its summary and i realised that it is in my masterball:banghead:

The same regret I have each time.

I always sell my pokemon games once I'm done with them, and once the next one is out, I always regret not keeping them to transfer my pokes... yet, I always do it anyway, I sell my game ._.

In Pokémon Diamon I used the Master Ball on Stunky
In Pokémon Soul Silver I traded my Togepi cause of this everytime I spoke to Elm, he kept asking about the egg.

my worst regret every playing this game was when i was really young, like grade school, and in the wild i found a shiny buizel, and t the time i had no idea what that was, so i sent out my empoleon because it was first in my party, and i was pretty young at the time, so i was thinking that maybe a hydro pump wouldnt kill the buizel at the valley windworks from my lv. 42 empoleon, and to this day, i still cry on the inside.

When I was in elementary one of my friends let me borrow her Blue game, & I caught one of the Snorlax with a Master Ball because they were limited & hard to catch and I thought she would be happy.. nope she was saving it for Mewtwo & ended up restarting her game OTL or at least she said she would, I never saw her game after that so I don't know if she went through with it. I didn't really grasp the whole situation so I wasn't that upset but if that happened now, boy.

In my games though, uh.. I had a chansey that I taught a bunch of TMs to back in 3rd gen before TMs were re-useable. I was always upset at that Chansey with Blizzard/Grass Knot/probably Thunderbolt & other stuff for hogging all my good moves after I decided that I didn't actually like her and she didn't do enough damage. Didn't really need a tank like Chansey for the main games when I had my level 60 some Flygon!

My worst mistake was when I first met and caught a shiny Lugia, I gave it to my friend as a gift since he was moving and we we're playing Pokémon.

Well he done and gone and erased his game along with my Lugia!

Needless to say after than I never had luck with shiny Pokémon ever since (I didn't even soft reset for it).
