I do not use folders on the 3DS. The game icons themselves look nice and colorful, and they add a new "feel" to the menu. I have never forgotten any content that was stored on my 3DS, @Nanamine
PS( Off topic) Nice signature, @Reece

Awh  Thank you! And, same, I never forget the content on my 3DS, even the demos.

I used to, but it looked so ugly that I changed it back. There'd be only one line of folders on an obscenely huge home menu and that's not neat like I want it to be. The icons roam free now.

Same scenario here. The icons make the 3DS home menu colourful. I guess it's only useful using them when you have no more space left on the screen, or if you hate scrolling too far.
PS (Off topic) Welcome back. How were your exams? :)

I'm not fully back yet. THanks though. So far they've gone really well. I hope to get 500/550 at the very least.

I literally just removed all my folders to see if it looked nicer, and heck yeah it did. The titles are really colourful and everything!

That is exactly the reason why I stopped using folders. I would not use them unless I had absolutely no space on my screen.

I have a lot of games but I don't use folders because i only play a couple games at once.

Like it's not like I need to know where everything thing is at one time, I just put the games I play the most towards the front. Plus the games look nice outside of folders.

Nah, too lazy and I don't like it when everything is ordered neatly, I always loose things when I clean my room :p. And I don't have a SD card or something, so I don't really need it.

no, i do not use folders. i think their usability is only to save photos and videos. The only chance to use them is if only you could save there game save files in order to have them as backup

I arrange my apps with them lol

I use folders to hold all the applications I rarely use. It helps clear up the Home Screen and helps me find the games that I want to play quicker are more efficiently. Right now, I have 3 folders. One has some games, the other has all those useless applications, and the third holds demos. I like the organized look of my Home Screen as it invites me to play a game.

I have 3 folders on my original 3DS because I wanted it to be organized, but I don't have enough applications on my 3DS XL to make good use of folders.

I have used a folder before to put in my eShop games, but I only use it to organize my Home Screen from getting all crowded. I also use the folder to put in my most least played games, so I could find my favorite games on the Home Screen, ready to be played. Eventually, I stopped used the folder, because for some reason, I felt more comfortable with my Home Screen being crowded with apps.

I got a lot of review games. Many of them aren't that hot. Folders are good to tuck them out of sight.

I use folders to hide some of my downloaded games.

I sure do! I use them to differentiate between my Ambassador games and the games that I actually bought via 3DS eShop. It's very useful as it is much faster and easier to locate the games that I want to play.

I use folders to sort out the apps from the games, and to sort the games by Nintendo VC, Sega VC, 3DS games, and DSi games. It does, admittedly, look pretty bland and ugly... :p lol

Do you really have that many Apps? I personally like icons instead of folders. They add more color to the HOME Menu, and looks better overall compared to the bland Light-Blue color of the folders.
If only they would make the folder design like the iOS/Android folders :|
