yeah pokemon had one demo but it was an early gamestop exclusive. so you see there was a demo ready to roll but it was not uploaded into the e shop, I think even Animal crossing had a demo given to seme japenese show so it's the same case !
Yeah, I guess some of the popular games they only leave to business gaming conventions like E3 and Gamescom for providing demos and all

Yeah, well if there was a demo included that means it contributed (at least a little) towards the good sales that these game have, I think there will be a demo for this game, or so I hope for.

If there's a demo, expect it to be at E3 or some other gaming convention the average consumer won't have access to. SSB4 is already going to be expected to have huge sales so Nintendo probably won't feel like trying much

that's my point too and it's very likely that nintendo will realease an E3 demo like they did this year they could even reuse the "nintnedo experience" thing !

Don't get too far ahead of yourself. The Nintendo Experience thing wouldn't be necessary as the Wii U is already released. They'd likely invest their energy in other ventures

I hope there is!!! It would be so cool to try out but I don't think it's gonna happen. Probably an in-store demo though... I can't wait until Super Smash Bros Brawl. for the 3ds is released :D

I don't think even an in-store demo would happen. They'll probably limit it to people that aren't in the general public or some gaming convention like E3. Also, it's Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. Not Brawl for Wii U and Brawl for 3DS :p

No like at Nintendo World in New York City, they have playable demos and I think it will become one of those. But after it is released of course! I would totally go to Nintendo World to play that, I usually play demos before I buy the games.

I didn't know there was a Nintendo World in New York City. I guess that makes sense then. But honestly, I think by then there'll be enough hype that they won't feel the need to have any demos

Do you think that there will be a Super Smash Bros. for 3DS demo available at the eShop before the game becomes available to purchase and download? Honestly speaking, I can't see it happening,

What about you guys?
Well most likely nintendo should make demos for their customers to try before buying it , if we bought the game blindly and just played it for the first time you could already have a bad view about it.

"you could already have a bad view about it" That's unlikely to happen given all the amazing screenshots that have been posted thus far. With this much attention, a demo isn't all that necessary

Well , I bought scribblenauts unmasked I've seen the screen shots and videos it was really cool but when I bought it and played it I realized it's not that of a fun game ...

Well that's Scribblenauts unmasked. Smash Bros series is probably a lot more popular and will end up being like Pokemon X/Y in which there were insanely good sales without the need of an eshop demo

Yeah Super Smash Bros should be because I've liked it so far I've only played the Super Smash Bros Brawl on my friends Wii he got me interested in the game a lot.

I am on your side but I have seen the possibility of it and if they did who would you want them to include I would want sonic, Mario bowser, Pikachu, and marth

I don't think Marth would be as likely to be added to the game. If anything, I'd expect Link to be on a demo roster IF it happened. Oh, and Megaman and Wii Fit Trainer and Villager

Nintendo has hardly ever made demos for their first party games, so I doubt it will happen. If it does happen it will probably be on Wii U, though.

I think the roster would probably have Mario, Link, Kirby and Villager on it.

If they do end up making a demo for one console, I bet there'd be a bunch of consumer rage against it. Keep in mind that Sonic Lost Worlds had demos for both consoles...

I agree, gamers would rage about that a lot, I think if they do make a demo then it will be for both consoles and same character roster .

only problem would be limiting the character roster given the amount of new characters they're adding into the game. And then there's the fact that certain ones like Mario would HAVE to be in a demo if one was available...
