Silver is lighter then light grey/gray.

Mine is kinda not a single colour anymore, a red back plate, black body, buttons taken from a red and a purple, will probably become even more of a mess as time goes on and I lose parts while taking it apart...

I originally had the pink 3DS, but recently when I got the XL, I now have the purple SNES 3DS XL. I really love the purple buttons and the cool cover, and it was perfect for me since I love the older games SNES and NES games! It was quite pricey though since I couldn't find it anywhere, but I am really happy I got that one rather than a plain one!
