What is your favorite region: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, or Kalos?

If we considerate the places from which the regions are based on, I'd choose Kalos (Yes, I live in France).
Otherwise, I'd go with Johto, since I got Pokémon Silver first.

My favorite region is, Hoenn, it was my favorite season in Pokemon, and everything about the region is attracting, I enjoyed discovering the Hoenn region the most. I love Johto too, since it was connected to Kanto and the games (Pokemon Gold, Silver Crystal) were amazing. I wish they'd make a Pokemon league based on the Caribbean islands, sadly the Orange Islands were not a separate region by itself it was located south of the Kanto region.

My very first region was Kanto but i was very little and didn't understand the game much. Although when i got my Pokemon diamond (Sinnoh region) was at the age were i truly experienced Pokemon to its complete potential and i absolutely feel in love with the music of the game the graphics and all the awesome Pokemon it was and always will be my of my favourite Pokemon games likewise with Pokemon yellow due to it being my very first Pokemon game ever.

my favorite region is Hoenn even tho I started playing pokemon in fourth gen but I watched the third gen anime and that got me into the series

Sinnoh has the best overall region design imo, so Sinnoh.

I luv all the regions! Except, if I had to pick one, I'd definetly go with Kanto, the orginal game that started it all.

Hoenn.
But Kalos has better gameplay, I just enjoy Hoenn more, because

I kinda have two favourite regions, Unova (though I hate the name) and the Hoenn region.
B2W2 Unova because there was just so much detail in the region and the graphics were good for the DS.
Hoenn because it was a very tropical place with so many colourful citites

To make things easier, here's just a flowchart
IN MY OPINION,

Unova>Hoenn>Kalos=Sinnoh>>Johto> Kanto

I mean I liked them all, and it's so hard to decide which one is the "worst" firstly because there isn't one and that I can remember all the awesome moments I had first playing them. Oh gosh I loved Barry, with his ridiculous fines.

I love the Sinnoh region, I played every pokemon game but after Hoenn I was a little disappointed because it didn't have a lot of good pokemon, also They didn't make things fair with Groudon and Kyogre, Kyogre can wreck Groudon, but Sinnoh brought me back in with amazing music, great pokemon and probably the best champion, Cynthia, Sinnoh also had an amazing back story to the entire region, they actually included the Pokemon God, Arceus, Sinnoh also has the best Legendaries, gen 4 Pokemon games are also the 2nd best selling pokemon games, so a lot of people agree with me, so Sinnoh in my opinion is the best Pokemon game

My favorite would have to be hoenn simply for absol and gardenvoir. Although I enjoyed johto alot because it was my first game and that was when I still watched the show.

I would go for Johto, since that's the region I have spend the most time in. My favorite city would be Ecruteak City, I loved the backstory of it with the Tin Tower and the Burned Tower.

I say Sinnoh because There is a good variety of Pokemon you can find there and it is not that hard to find a pre-evolved form of a really powerful Pokemon.

Mine would be Johto - I like choosing Cyndaquil as my starter (Typlosion rules!) and Lugia is my favorite legendary. I also like challenging the last gym (dragon type). The setting is pretty too, so many places to explore.

What a crazy question lol almost every new pokemon games that are new peoples will always until there's another new pokemon game mine is Kanto for the moment

Hoenn was my favorite, Best region with awesome gym leaders and elite four members and best legendaries =P Plus the Battle Frontier was the BEST, Loved every part of the Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald games. The Hoenn region provided a lot of challenge which I loved and made the games really fun.

For my favorite region i have to go with Sinnoh since Diamond was the first game that i was old enough to enjoy the game at its full potential, Unova and Kalos came pretty close too but Sinnoh is still my favorite region of all time.

Johto had some respectable gym leaders and cities. Golden Rod was Bill's home. The maker of the pokemon PC. They had Clair, and Lance as dragon masters. Had dratini's up for sale in the Casino. Saved up all my moniez for that dratini to be in my party. also, the story behind the three legendary dogs, Ho-oh, and Lugia are my favorite lores in all of pokemon.

3-way tie between Johto, Hoenn and Kalos. Johto's areas felt amazing, walking around them the first time, Hoenn had great Pokemon, and Kalos just felt... right. :)

Hoenn gets my vote mainly because of the Battle Frontier. Kalos is good with Lumiose City and all, but you just can't beat that additional content that gives you more hours in the single player gameplay imo.

I can't really remember what Kanto and Johto looked like to be honest (I remember walking around but I can't picture the entire map, sadly), and Sinnoh was decent with the day/night system.

The water mazes in Hoenn weren't my cup of tea the first time I played the game though >.<
