What was your first shiny?

My first was a shiny seaking in Pokémon X by fishing came in the seventh fishing could not believe!:)

A Shiny Rhyhorn in Pokémon Crystal years ago. I already knew what Shiny Pokémon were, and bragged about it every time someone mentioned Shinies.

My First shiny was a Pikachu in Pokémon Y and it was so cool and Orange! I was so happy then but then I traded it for a 6iv Gyrados .-.

No joke, I had a shiny Magikarp once. I didn't even realize it was shiny until I looked close enough. It was my most prized possession. And then I traded it away not paying attention, and my friend was like "dude, thanks for the shiny!" and I was like..wait..what? D:

I traded for a shiny level 100 Dialga, but I'm positive it was hacked. I spent a while getting a shiny charmander from breeding with the Masuda method, and eventually got one and evolved it to charizard. However, I stopped using it because since i breeder it it was hard to level up. Then I did the same with a meta gross.

Do you mean encountered shiny or obtained? My first encountered was a wild Mr. Mime, in one of XY's caves. It was lima bean green, but I, for once, only had like 5 balls, all of which were either Heal Balls or Net balls. I ran out and had to kill it. My first OBTAINED shiny was a shiny Watchog which I got from a Wonder Trade.

Poochyena in Pokémon emerald, I believe. It wasn't a very impressive Pokémon, I give you that, but it was golden, and it was the first Pokémon I encountered when I first got my pokéballs from May, so it was probably my fourth battle in that game, so it was quite awesome. I lost him (Or maybe her?), as a shiny Mightyena, when my save file was corrupted, if I remeber correctly.

EDIT: Red/Shiny Gyarados in Crystal as well, but as said above, as he's part of the story, he hardly counts.

So i played pokemon for 14 years now and i remember my first shiny !
My first shiny was a misdreavus and i was playing in my causin's Pokemon Gold ! I had no ideia what a shiny was at the time , but my causin got really exited that i caught a pokemon with a different color ! It was really funny ! :D

Shiny Geodude in Firered. I was randomly walking in mt Moon when I randomly found this shiny geodude. I got well excited. I knew what shinies were then so I caught it

Well my first shiny Pokémon was a Rattata in Pokémon Silver! I was looking at her and wondering why did it had that colour. I cached it after the initial shock and ended up evolving into a Raticate and then into one of my boxes and left it there. It was a good experience ^^ And a few months back I was playing fire red and a shiny Rattata appeared and I had to catch it again so it was really cool! :3

Gen 2's Shiny Gyarados at the Lake of Rage but since the shiny event was part of the story I don't really count him as the first ever procedurally captured Shiny Pokemon I have.

The first Shiny pokemon I caught was Luvdisc, it had crap-mediocre stats so I just held onto the poor thing. You'd wonder how someone who has played pokemon for an innumerable number of hours has only encountered 1 Shiny pokemon in the wild before.

My first shiny pokemon in the game was a Frillish in the fifth generation.;)

The Red Gyarados from Gen 2. Though my real first shiny was a gen 6 Luvdisc caught using the chain fishing method, took me roughly 30 minutes to snag a shiny.

slightly off-topic: I think a shiny magikarp is more valuable than a shiny gyarados but only because it's gold.

My first shiny was a bronze Machop on the patch of grass slightly north of Oreburgh City. I threw a Pokeball, it shook 3 times, it clicked and I caught it. And then my game immediately froze because I accidentally dropped it in my excitement.

well i get you after i got that one first e never caught another until pokemon y .. its a matter of luck i guess , we can never expect shinys all the time :\
but we'll get there :D

Well, if we're talking about "caught", I have (quite lamely) never caught a wild Shiny. My only wild shiny encounter ever was a Mr. Mime in Y, which I couldn't catch because I had somewhere around 2 Net balls, and that was all. I tried chain fishing and whatever the other thing is, but I couldn't get a shiny.

May I Regale you with a tale from yon past?

My first shiny pokemon was a Golden Magikarp, but I caught it is Ruby, because I ended up skipping GSC (even though they became it became my favourite later). I was Fishing in sootoplis on in the early summer, and after believing the lie someone told me about that city having amazing fishing catches besides magikarp I ended up with a golden magikarp! I remember distinctly the sound and animation that plays when you meet a shiny. I named it "Goodly" Because I was to PC back then to call it "Godly".
When I showed a kid I knew, he went nuts, and ended up filling half his boxes with boring regular magickarp. I ended up later loosing it, after lending it to my friend, as was supposed to go to a local tournament, and me and another guy wanted to send him with our "signature" pokemon, so it'd be like we were there, but someone stole his game right before the tourney. And I never saw it again. :(

And that was my first shiny!

My first Shiny was a banette, I think. I don't remember much about finding it, since it happened a really long time ago.
I transferred it up to Sinnoh, but I lost the cartridge for Pearl. :/
It feels like a part of me has died.
...Kidding.
