"So old man, where we goin'? The dorms, im guessin'..." vahn talked to him with a weird look, and drunk straight from the bottle of his special blend of alcohol.

Lara stole the bottle from Vahn. "Don't know, don't care, as long as there's a bar and a job" she said after chugging all the liquor.

Vahn was amazed at Lara's alcohol consumption. "Damn Lara, your like the world's youngest drunk."

  • #64
Lara smiled as she tossed the bottle back at Vahn. "Nah, I'm not even buzzed yet."

  • #65
Vahn was impressed. He'd found someone he can relate to. Vahn caught the bottle passed by Lara and tried to take a drink......only to find it was empty. "Oh well, I always got my ways to get more". Vahn smiled and winked at Lara.

Lara smiled and put her arm around Vahn. "And that's why you're my new best friend! And to think, I was trying to figure out a way to con you out of all your money!"

Vahn put his arm around Lara. "Wow. You really don't sugarcoat things, huh?" Vahn laughed as he and Lara chatted away.

Ayros yawned as he looked down at his shoes. He forgot how beat up his shoes were. He supposed it was time to get a new pair, so he waltzed over to the guard with a fairly believable drunk walk and curled up at his feet. What he didn't anticipate was the fact that he actually did need some sleep. As soon as he hit the floor he was out cold

"Well, he's down. So....do we just leave him here?" Vahn said.

  • #70
Lara shrugged and took the money Ayros took earlier. After all, if it wasn't for her, he'd have been dead. More beer money for her.

  • #71
Ayros awoke as soon as he felt the money being taken from him. Doing that was one of the things he had been trained to do. It was like a second nature, now.

"Y'know..." Ayros started. "I was gonna buy you a beer later anyway."

Lara pocketed the money. "Yea, I know you are. Why do you think I'm taking the money?" Lara may be a drunk, but she wasn't a coward. She knew how to fight

  • #73
Ayros yawned. "Fair enough," he said with a laugh, and with that, he went back to sleep.

Lara turned to Vahn. "So, where's the nearest bar. I can't imagine they'd have a place for degenerates like us and NOT have a bar."

  • #75
"well if you ask me having a bar here would really be contrary to the purpose of the facility........at least in name and face this place is a correctional facility, though that doesn't mean alcohol is unobtainable"rath's face curled up into a smirk.
"*degenerates* always find a way to get what they want, our Seniors might be able to hook us up with something for the right price, though i doubt 20 bucks can get you too much in here."

Lara cracked her knuckles threateningly and smiled an evil smile. "So, if they don't accept cash or credit, let's see if they accept their own teeth"

  • #77
Cracking knuckles. A major flaw for a murderer. Before a kill, a cocky murderer would crack his knuckles. Ayros had been trained to awake on that sound.

Ayros woke with a start, and he overheard Lara. "What about debit?" he asked in response.

  • #78
"for 16 year old degenerates you all seem well versed in economic concepts" Rath noted "what the hell is credit or debit?"
understandably lack of formal education had left Rath in the dark about some of the difficult vocabulary and concepts that were common sense for others, despite this he never tried to hide it.
most people around him gave him a look of pity, some of mocking and others of just plain disinterest.

Lara grinned "I haven't the slightest idea!" she said. She was lying of course, but she figured it'd be quicker this way. Changing the subject, she said "So...what exactly do we do here? Just stand around talking? Seems like a waste of time."

Ayros rolled his eyes and said "Credit or debit? I don't know either. I saw it online once," Ayros shrugged. He caught on to Lara's ideas pretty quick, he supposed.

"Anyways, how about we go explore, yeah, Lara?" Ayros walked away, towards the exit, skipping merrily all the way.
