"This better be worth it, after you guys LEFT ME IN A JUNGLE for three hours coming here," Sky said, glaring at Azura and Eric. She sent out Ace, Milotic, Gale, and Volcan. "Ready, guys?" She took a deep breath. "We can't win if we're not confident!" Her Pokemon cried out eagerly.

"Good luck, Eric, Azura. But of course, I'm gonna beat you in the end!"

(How many people total enter the tournament? Forgot if this was previously mentioned.)

Lance's eyes widened. He had not only fought against him before, but Eric had as well on Mount Silver, and they both lost. He had also heard that Red had obtained Mega Evolution, but that was just a rumour.

<I knew he was entered, but I would have wanted him to have been paired up with someone else...>

"Let the battle... COMMENCE!"

"DRAGONITE! Let's do this!" Lance yelled throwing out a Pokeball.

"Yeah. I battled him once... Or twice... And lost," Eric said teeth clenched. "But there was hail! It was the weathers fault!"

Lance's Dragonite fainted from one well placed Ice Beam. But less than a minute later, Lapas tanked through Lance's Areodactal, Dragonite and Charzard.

"I won't go down without defeating one of your Pokemons! Gyarados! Finish him!"

"Red's Pokemon... Somehow, they're stronger... Lance has a sliver of a chance..."

"Gyarados! Outrage!" Lance yelled.

Gyarados charged at Lapras, scoring a critical hit knocking it out.

Red tossed out one more Pokeball, a Pikachu coming out.

"Pika-CHUUUUU!" Pikacu yelled, sending a bolt of electricity towereds Gyarados, knocking it out.

"And the winner is... RED!"
