What is your favorite region: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, or Kalos?

My favorite is Hoenn. And the fact that Ruby was my first game isn't why. Sure nostalgia plays a small part, but that's not the only reason it's my favorite. I've always liked the towns Hoenn had in it, and I loved the way the region was put together. But my favorite part was the music. I truly believe Hoenn had some of the best soundtracks, Like the Regis and Elite Four track. Even the route music was nice.

My favorite rejoin is Kento because the Pokemon were larger and stronger like look a charizard now he is almost Ash's height but in seasons one he was way bigger than any one and in the Kento games the Pokemon know powerful attacks

I've gotta say that my favorite is Unova for various reasons. One my favorite pokemon Chandeluar is native to this region. Two I absolutely love Team Plasma specifically Colress who is my favorite pokemon character. Last of all the pokemon musical is just awesome XD.

Sinnoh is my favorite. It was the first pokémon game I ever played and I really enjoyed it. I still play it to this day, way more than I play Pokémon Black, Black 2 and X.

Hoenn because it was my first Pokemon game I ever owned and that's where I trained my blazicken to lvl 100. And Steven looks cool

Hoenn, I love the starters' designs and a lot of other Pokemon from Hoenn too, such as Tropius. I also love the trainers and characters like Steven and Winona, they just look so cool! I'm not a big fan of surfing and water in Pokemon games, as the Pokemon jump out all the time, but the rest of the pluses make up for it. The legendaries are great, I mean, who doesn't love a good Shiny Mega Rayquaza?

At least shiny rayquaza looks awesome. If you look at groudon....its a huge no for me. I mean kyogre's shiny looks alright being pink. But groudon being that nasty yellow just weirds me out. You know what shiny starter looks cool? Shiny treeko :)

Definitely! I hate shinies that are just a sickly yellow-green. I've never encountered a shiny in the wild before, but if I found one of those I'd probably walk away and play on the Wii U!

To me the black colored shinies look amazing. Like shiny charizard and greninja (have both of them) but sometimes some Pokemon shouldn't have shinies. Like shiny mudkip.

Yeah, some shinies look really ugly, and you're better off with just the original pokemon.

In response to the question posed, Pokemon Sapphire was the first game I ever played, so Hoenn will always have a special place in my heart. Still, I'm looking forward to what they bring to the table in Sun and Moon with the Alola region. The multiple island thing is giving me a Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs vibe.

Mine is kanto because it is the original on the series and because the pokemon were so good back then and because charmander was there because he was my favourite pokemon because he evolves into charizard plus the legendary pokemon were sooooo cool and there was quite a lot of them there which made it cooler and it was in the first game I ever got which got me into pokemon.

i like johto,but Sinnoh offered alot of new and cool pokemons

My favorite is Sinnoh. It was my first Pokémon game and has my favorite legendary, Palkia. My favorite animal is a monkey and Fire is my favorite type. When Chimchar came out I was excited. Chimchar became my favorite Pokémon.

Mine is Kanto my first pokemon game ever was pokemon blue and when I played that game I felt alive,it was very fun,Kanto was easy to explore,the battles were well put out,the pokemon Champion was really fun to battle,catching my first shiny on there was fun. Kanto also had pallet town,lavender town and my favorite place to go was my house my mother was so nice,I liked how you could name Gary anything literally anything and collecting so little pokemon 151 was not really a challenge but that's what made me like it. The region itself was filled with so much mystery and impending battles. The gym leaders were pretty decent,I loved misty and her battle,I also like Kanto since my favorite pokemon was introduced into that generation. Short but very sweet

I like Kanto The O.G. red, blue, yellow, Fire Red, Leaf green. Personally I prefer the Fire Red, Leaf Green versions because it shows how they could have wanted it to look but did not have the processing power to show it. With that said I do not dis approve of the red blue and yellow versions after all the started the whole franchise. I Just merely like the newer designs better like the varying building types and more detailed poke-balls, and the use of all colors of the Game Boy Advanced.

Johto without a doubt sure it helped that i had two regions to explore but it was the one where I experienced the biggest amount of updates, even after finishing the game is rare for me to not find something to do,oh and of course the remakes made me love it even more.

Mine is johto
It has awsome Pokemon (The starters,legends,phanpy,murkrow,espeon and umbreon)
It is the first game to feature box art legendaries, fighting red is cool, traveling to kanto is awsome, and the new addition of breeding and baby Pokemon cause togepi,magby and pichud are SO CUTE

Hoenn! They had Pokemon contests and the Casino(back then). They also added new and cool Pokemon. They also had the Trick house which was very neat. And best of all, the free bike (earlier regions/games before Hoenn charged P1M for the bike)

I like Kalos. Pokemon x and y were my favorite. It better graphics than other games till omega ruby alpha sapphire came. The legend Aries were nice. There was trainer customization.
