Emulators or no?

Emulators doesn't support Ni-Fi. You have to get a 2nd DS + a flash cart or use DeSMume and try send your Pokemons through the GTS, and even after, that would be a pain to get it back in the legal game.
It'd be a pain, but the point is it's still possible. If you happen to have the resource and are willing to waste your time on it, then the option is still out there I guess

Yes. But I'd rather use my 3DS + my DS Lite to transfer from Gen to Gen or from Game to Game.
Ahh, I am so excited that I can't wait to see my Pokemons in 3D... But I'll have to wait to buy Pokemon Black 2 and wait for the PokeBank to come out ! Like if waiting a few hours again wasn't as hard as possible !

Just beware though...with the big Pokemon like Yveltal the 3D effect can kinda make the game lag. Kinda makes sense given the huge amount of content that would have to be projected in 3D with the slider on the full way though

Then, what would it be on a online battle, with either 4 Legendaries, or on a 3 on 3, with 3 Wailords on each team ? Doom.

yeah, too much lag gg Although there aren't any lag problems when you play it without the 3D on. In any case, it's kinda evident that Pokemon X/Y wasn't meant to have the 3D effect on given that most of the gameplay it's automatically disabled

Ah really ? I thought that it has more 3D. That's a shame, given the fact that in catalogues, it said "amazing 3D effect"...

well, you don't really need 3D because it looks good without it on. I mean the 3D graphics are still in there anyway. It's just with normal trainer battles and gym leader battles that the 3D effect works well

Well, anyway, I'll play it in a few hours, so I'll see... *gives the impression of being calm*
(In the truth:
Me: "Why don't the time goes faster, I just want to play Pokemon X, but I can't because it's not the time !" *rages*)
And I keep wondering which starter I'll choose... And I'll have to check those mysteries that everybody said earlier as well as the X/Y mysteries that JWittz (a famous Pokemon Youtuber) found.

Well as I said on the other thread, Fennekin is a good one to choose. Anyways, we really need to stop going off topic on all these threads now before someone gets annoyed with us xD

Sure. But going off-topic is too easy when talking about Pokemon !

Well...as long as the games aren't sold it's not plagiarism but if you can access them without using an emulator then it doesn't seem right. But...I admit to playing the fan translation of Mother 3. It's like listening to music online that's sold elsewhere. It's meant to be heard right?

I used to play them some time ago. It's nice to revisit those old classic games for good times sake. I only ever played GBA games/roms.

I was thinking...

Virtual Console games are actually legal emulators...
So literally a lot of us use those XD

I use emulators quite a lot. Mostly for games that don't release here, or games on systems I don't own and can't own unless I spend a lot of money. For example, I never owned a SNES. If I buy a SNES, I'd also need to buy an old TV because my current TV doesn't have any compatible plugs for it. Therefore, the console and games aren't easily accessible, so I emulate.

Mmm... What about a component (the one the SNES uses) to hdmi converter?

That could work, but then it brings up the issue of upscaling. Not to mention it would be yet another thing I'd have to buy.

And since neither the console nor the games are in production any longer, Nintendo aren't losing money by me emulating instead of buying.

True.
Unless those are on Virtual Console, but meh... XD

I have that same outlook on it as well, I don't buy much VC, because I'm not amaze with the 3DS VC library,so I'm still hoping for GBA games to come on the 3DS VC, but until then, they won't be losing no money from me emulating GBA games because it's not available on the 3DS VC....

While I do like collecting games and buying the Nintendo VC games I still like emulation as well. They give you the ability to play any retro game you want no matter how hard or rare it may be to track down. It also lets you play games that were region locked or are fan translated that never came out in your region.

well, in this case, my old DS using roms to play.. haha well, in my country, the game titles aint that good.. mostly just hardcore stuffs, and girls.. as they thought that DS = child play..
and once you find one, the price is ridiculous, so I prefer roms as it is way cheap and efficient
