my favorite starter would be Umbreon becauseihave a thing for dark types, they are amazing!

Knowing Nintendo, they will use their so called 'logic' and release a new pokemon game even earlier than needed. Nintendo has already released pokemon games within 1 year of each other, what is to say they won't do that again? Pokemon gold and silver was released in NA on October 15th 2000 and in EU on April 6th 2001 but crystal was released in NA on July 29th 2001 and in the EU on November 1st 2001. Crystal may have made some minor changes and fixed glitches from gold and silver but did they seriously need their release dates so close to each other?

Well the difference is is that technology was more basic back then. Now that they're on the 3DS, they'll likely need more time on this project because 3D models and all for the cities and everything....that is assuming they haven't already started.

My favourite would be Piplup :). I loved that starter ever since I started playing the D/P/P games and will do anything to get one in X and Y. But that's when Pokemon bank comes out, right? It evolves into an awesome Empoleon and makes it even better. Gotta love that Piplup :D

You know Empoleon is awesome when it's got a unique typing lol I mean, it's the only pokemon with a Water/Steel type combination

Do you feel the nostalgia calling to you? What Pokemon is your favorite starter? (Pikachu will count since Pokemon Yellow and all)

Mine is Charmander. Why? Because this little pyro lizard turns into a full fledged fire deity when he eventually evolves into Charizard. That's why.

Same here I like charmander a lot he is a beast !!! He learns dragon moves :) and it's design is so awesome and cool

I have like 20 Charmanders. Want one? They're hogging up space in my box and I need to get rid of them. Wonder Trade loves giving them to me.

Nah I'm good you should learn how to sell charmander / your pokemon for play coins :) that way you won't waste your time and you will at least earn some play coins.

But they're not worthy of being sold. I only see pokemon with good ivs and/or good natures worthy of being sold. I won't sell crappy pokemon to people. It's unfair :p

which Pokemon is your favorite starter from any gen/game/region?

Cyndaquil for me. I love fire types. They're the best to start off, and they mainly have high attack power. It's final evolution, Typlosion, is one of my all-time favorite pokemon. It looks so powerful and has some tough attacks.

I'm on the same boat as you. Out of all the starts, Cyndaquil was my favourite.

LOL, Pikachu is not a starter, he was just Ash's first Pokemon, I don't think Pikachu is an official starter.

hehe.. in pokemon yellow if gary dint steal the eevee, eevee will be you're starter pokemon.. but on the other hand pikachu is sooo cute..:whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle::love::love::love::love:

Hmmm... Difficult one. I guess i'll go with just the first 3, but I really like Snivy too :). But he looks so selfish in some pictures, I mean, just look at his face!
